Between 21st and 24th of May 2020, we are happy to invite you to the International Training on Disaster Medicine Cluj- Napoca.
This Training is organised by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj Napoca, in collaboration with IFMSA and SMUCR Cluj. This training is held annually. ITDMCluj 2020 is proudly celebrating Emergency Medicine Day
The trainers are medical students who have completed the Training Disaster Medicine Trainers course of the University of Piemonte Orientale (Novara, Italy) in collaboration with the Discipline of Emergency Medicine of UMF Cluj-Napoca.
Our aim is to create a strong community of first responders in disaster management. Therefore, we are tackling topics like: Mass Casualty event management (Triage, Team setting, Location setting, Evacuation), Hospital management during Disasters, Natural and Man-made DIsaster management, International Public Health policies etc
This course is HANDS ON. Besides theoretical lectures, workshops and simulations are included in the curricula, so you’d better be en garde for the whole time of the course, you never know when a MCI might happen. We are also going to visit the main firefighter station and have a chance to see the SMURD ambulances and the firefighter equipment.
No previous knowledge in the field is mandatory.
In order to apply to this Training you must have completed the first year of Bachelor in a Medical University, General Medicine program.
The participation is mandatory in all four days of the course. Based on the results of the post-test, an IFMSA certificate will be issued in your name.
